Below is this week's concession stand schedule.

We need extra help on Friday night as this is the Highland's game AND it is our senior night.  This means that a lot of our senior parents who normally help in the stand will not be able to work.  also we will be at a competition all day Saturday, so if you are not going to the competition and can help us out, please let us know.  I know the Lietzenmayers want to go to the competition and not work in the stand that night.

Please contact Lori if you can help.

If you can work any of these games, please let me know (lorelei.lietz@insightbb.com).  It's not hard work and is a lot of fun!

Thanks,
Lori

Friday (09/24) - Varsity Football (Homecoming) - 7:00pm (can use help from 3pm on!)

Show Shirts for Thursdays Practice

We will be taking pictures of the kids on Thursday during practice for the "Festival at the Heights" Program.

All band members need to wear their show shirts to practice on Thursday.

They will not need their show shirts for the football game on Friday as we will be in full uniform.

OVER 200 NEW PHOTOS UPDATED TO THE WALGREEN'S SITE

Password - bandkids

Over 200 photos have been updated onto the Walgreen's site.  Jill tried to get a picture of each kid.  There is some good stuff on there...check it out!

How cool is this???

After the 2nd week of competitions we are the 4th highest scoring band in the state, behind North Hardin, Grant County, and Beechwood.   While this does not amount to a hill of beans, and it is almost impossible to compare scores from different shows...it is still pretty cool to think about.   Check out the link below.

We have an awful lot to live for.

Saying "Goodbye" is not the hard part...it's what we leave behind.

The end is coming soon!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPyVMgxuGLk

We need two weeks of hard work to get the end of the show on.    Even though there is no show this weekend, we need 100% attendance to finish our production.

In the meantime, enjoy the final melody of "Goodbye..."

Please check your child's shoes.  If they have two shoes but each shoe is a different size, then they need to talk to Kyle Ihli....because someone took one of his shoes, but left the other one.

Guard will be wearing the body suit and the skirts.  The band will be playing at halftime for the Homecoming Court.

Saturday
NO COMPETITION (Enjoy your free weekend!)

Tonite Jan Rankin will be handing out info about the food for Saturday.  What we were planning is buying fried chicken and letting people choose to either pay $2 for the chicken and/or bring a side dish/snack.  The form will have a box to check & can be handed in then and there!

As the earlier note indicates, the dish etc can be dropped off Saturday am before trucks are loaded and then if needed they will be put in coolers etc.  OH yes – we can always use donations of bottle water although the water in the big cooler things is going to be the drink of choice – too much garbage & waste with the bottles & need them for warm up.

We do need some confirmation on the chicken…i.e, who will be there and who wants to pay or bring food.  Got to get the order in by  Friday – you can email me @ liz@pblaw.org or Lori @ lorelei.lietz@insightbb.com   or just check the form and hand back in.   Do remember that all family members can eat with us…but we would appreciate if they/you can contribute for the chicken for any extra people.

Thanks  & hope to see lots and lots of people Saturday!!!  P.S.  you may want to bring bag chairs or something to sit on!
